TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Rules ("the Rules") set out the procedures for the provision of services between „ShipmentsDK“ ("Service Provider") and the person ordering the services ("Client").
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. activities under individual activity certificate No. *********** ** is carried out by a natural person. 1.2. The service provider carries out parcel, freight, animal, motorcycle/bicycle transport and removal services on the route Lithuania-Denmark-Lithuania. 1.3. The main nodes of activity are: Kaunas, Lithuania and Copenhagen, Denmark.
2. ORDER PLACEMENT AND FULFILMENT
2.1 Orders shall be accepted via the official website www.siuntosdk.lt or via the contacts provided. 2.2 The Customer must provide accurate information about the contents, weight, address and contact details. 2.3 The Customer shall be informed of the provisional and exact time of arrival of the courier a few days before the trip and again on the day of the trip.
3. CONTENT REQUIREMENTS AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
3.1 It is strictly forbidden to send: narcotic and psychotropic substances, alcohol, tobacco products, weapons, ammunition, explosives, flammable liquids, and other items prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Denmark. 3.2 The Service Provider reserves the right to inspect the contents of the Consignment if there is a reasonable suspicion of the carriage of prohibited items. 3.3. Limitation of liability: The Service Provider shall not be liable for the content of a Shipment that is illegal or does not comply with the requirements set out in these Rules. The Customer assumes all legal and financial responsibility for the sending of prohibited items. 3.4 The Service Provider shall not compensate for any loss if illegal content is seized by law enforcement authorities, lost or damaged.
4. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
4.1 The Customer must ensure that the Parcel is securely packed. The Service Provider shall not be liable for improper packaging and any resulting damage to the contents. 4.2 The Service Provider shall not be liable for damage to breakable or fragile items if they have not been properly protected and marked with special markings (e.g. „Fragile“). 4.3. CMR Insurance: All cargo is covered by standard international CMR insurance. Please note that according to international conventions, CMR insurance will only cover a part of the value of the shipment (based on the weight of the shipment and not on the purchase value or the market price). 4.4 When transporting animals, the Customer must provide a valid EU pet passport and the necessary vaccinations.
5. PAYMENT
5.1 The prices for the services are based on the current price list or by individual agreement (in the case of removals or bulky goods). 5.2 Payment shall be made in cash at the time of collection/delivery or by bank transfer (e.g. Revolut) subject to prior agreement.
